Shouldn't she be in Dante's lower rings of Hell for her crime? Lori Drew's conviction was thrown out by a judge. Whether the judge's reasoning was reasonable I'll let others decide. What I am sure of is that this bitch deserves to be a pariah for the rest of her life for what she did to that poor girl.

Clearly, she is a lower form of life. I'm sure living life as such an unintelligent, small, twisted, and hateful being is punishment enough. I wouldn't even want to peek inside her soul. Eeeeeew...
Most adults tend to be very protective of people much younger than themselves. She has to be everything you said to do that to a 13-year-old. What a pathetic creep.
Indeed! And now, no matter what the court says, she must live with the blood of a child on her hands. I wouldn't trade places with her for anything. She's living in hell already.
I think this woman was wrong, immature and pretty much a skankarella, but you can't really say she's 'responsible' for a suicide. I went through shit in high school, worse than that, and suicide never entered my mind. The girl was obviously not in her right mind and needed help. I'm not saying the woman's actions weren't the last straw, or that they weren't appalling, but people do meaner things than that every day on the Internet and no one puts them in jail.
What really pissed me off about this was this person was an adult who should have known better. You can forgive a kid for engaging in this sort of behavior, but an adult? At the very least, she needs one person after another to ask her, "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I hope she doesn't get any peace for the rest of her life, that people literally or metaphorically point at her.
In terms of this poor girl, I guess we'll never know. She might have committed suicide later in life. Or if she hadn't encountered this bitch, she could have survived until she was old enough and strong enough to better withstand the challenges life throws one's way. There was a classmate who committed suicide when we were sixteen, I think over getting dumped by a girl. Sometimes kids can do impulsive actions. Maybe if he hadn't made that horrible mistake at that time, he wouldn't have given into suicidal thoughts for the rest of his life. As an adult who had the life experience to know how bad that time can be, I tend to be a little easier and kinder with people that age, knowing that stuff like this is a possibility.
Ah, jeez. What a horrible thing to happen, huh?
You're thinking of adults like us though. There are evil, vicious people out there, and they don't all look like Manson. Humanity is so very flawed.
You're thinking of adults like us though.
Yeah, true. Sometimes I think back to some of the less kind teachers and other adults I interacted with as a kid. As an adult it makes me angry that they wouldn't give a kid more of the benefit of the doubt and be patient with them. |
