Ah, nuts. So. I finally get off my lazy butt and start walking, in addition to doing push ups and scrunches. I start seeing results and then we get this horrendous weather that makes being outside really uncomfortable, even dangerous. I haven't walked in the last four to five days, which bums me out. However, I continue to do my the scrunches and push ups. I hope the temperature goes up so I don't feel like I'm in a Siberian winter when I'm outside.

| | Cold weather definitely sucks.
We have a consultant working with us here that has to go back home and doesn't want to cause it's 77 here today, and probably in the minus temps where he lives. I wouldn't either! I probably function best in what are fall temps for Michigan where you're not sweating but you're not cold either. A lot of people here seem to like summer in MI but I hate how hot and muggy it usually is. people go on about how beautiful kentucky summers are. i grew up here and think they're just miserable. 110* not counting humidity? you might as well sit in a sauna all day! Oh, the horrors of humidity, huh? ![[User Picture]](http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/62283567/6957709) | | From: | kmg_365 |

This is why I am glad I have an exercise bike. Weather doesn't impact me...only my laziness does. Yeah, not having to go out into the elements is a plus. You know, I looked at some online today. It looked like you had to spend at least four hundred before you really got a quality bike. ![[User Picture]](http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/62283567/6957709) | | From: | kmg_365 |

Yeah, exercise equipment isn't cheap. I bought the bike pretty much the day after I was diagnosed with hypertension. The cost was justified in my mind when taking managing my blood pressure into consideration. i prefer my mari-powered bicamocycle. |
